I had a fantastic experience from start to finish for my PRK procedure through Lexington Eye with Dr. Kieval. Let me first start with Dr. Kieval’s surgical coordinator, Justina. She took care of all of the appointments, initial consultation, and guided me through the entire process. She always got back to me in no time, usually same day with any questions I had, and I appreciated that we could correspond via email. I am sure she has many, many patients that she is juggling at the same time, but I felt like the only one.
Thank you to the entire staff at Lexington Eye, each time I visited any office everyone was friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Justina for the time and care throughout the process, and thanks to Dr. Kieval for both your education and execution of the surgery. You’ve got a good thing going; I have, and will continue, to refer colleagues and friends to Lexington Eye.
I had called for my prescription. First they kept transferring me from place to place. Then finally when I get someone the person was so rude to me that I am now never coming back for anything. You really need to get new people if you want to keep your clients I am so upset over how rude your employees were to me.
Dr. Kieval did a great job of explaining all the steps of the surgery ahead of time, and prepared me for what to expect the day of surgery and beyond. He also ran through the procedure steps the morning of the surgery. Throughout the actual procedure, he also explained step by step what was going on, and any sensations I may feel. I found comfort in this approach, and I also recall thinking it was way better than the dentist!
I was trying to decide if I would move forward with LASIK or PRK, and Justina and Dr. Kieval both supported me and helped me through making that decision. Dr. Kieval spent almost an hour to go through all the questions I had, and to educate me on the procedures. This was an important part of the process, making sure you are educated and comfortable with your decision. They never rushed me or put any pressure on me throughout the decision making process. I knew Dr. Kieval’s focus was about the health of my eyes, ensuring I made the best decision for myself, and not ‘just another surgery’.
Lexington Eye Associates is a competent, professional institution. The two different doctors I saw were able to diagnose and treat my Uveitis, and over time empower me to recognize the symptoms and treat myself. Good job.

Ridiculous!!!!!!!!! Appointment is at 10:15. Confirmed no less than 7 times over the last two weeks, through text, email, and phone calls. Arrived at 9:45. Here in plenty of damn time. Notified front desk upon checking in that we had another appointment at 11:30 in neighboring town. Taken in at 11:30!!!!!!!!!! For a 10:15 appointment. Your system is broken. You have LOST a patient. We will take our business elsewhere.......... anywhere except Lexington Eye Associates. This is bad business. Waaaaaay too many techs and not enough Drs. Again, Ridiculous!!!!!!!
